Last weekend was brilliant ... i learned so much, lets start from the High Rope Course, my initial plan was not to go on one coz im shit scared of heights, but due to alot of peer pressure i took the courage to pay Rs. 200 ($ 3.00) and remember it for the rest of my life. (yea that's how scared I was).The course started up with a short training, on a height of 2 inches above the ground. (n THAT made my head spin). Lator we were taken to a higher level and that's when it all started ... "life lessons". Every task that i completed made me realize that that's how life is, just like life, you cannot go back in time and cannot quit, like you have to keep on moving in order to finish what you started. There were few times where i just wanted to close my eyes and not see where i was going (for eg swinging from one end to another, at 60 ft above the ground), but just couldn't do it. I had to see everything, as we cannot face our fears with closed eyes.
Anyhow, God was great and so were all my friends who kept on cheering for me, i could hear them from a distance screaming "yes Khumar, u are almost done!!!" i guess ..... no matter what phase in life u are ... u always need someone to cheer for u... to let u know that they are waiting on the other end to celebrate your success, but at the sametime, it also reminds u .. that no matter how much one cheers for u ... it is u ... all alone to fight and face your own battles in life.
Will i do it AGAIN!! Hell no!!!
About other incidents where i learned alot ... well i learned a really good way to make sheesha ... i think im getting somewhat better in charades.. and .. above all .. i think im getting better at giving Presentations.
