So my sleep is very important to me!!!! why is that a bad thing?? i mean ... y do ppl have to call me in the middle of the night!

I am up all day and nobody calls ..... as soon as i hit my sack ... that's when all the spiel about "Staying in-touch" comes into existence!!

Hey! u know wat .... i can use this blog for "You know wat REALLY grinds my gears?? "

You know wat really grinds my gears?? Ppl calling me in the middle of the night!! I mean, first u call me at such a bizarre time and then have enuf nerves to ask me, "did i wake u up?".... Like OMG!!! Of course u didn't!!! infact ... i was actually waiting for your call!! Now i can sleep peacefully!!!

SO, Ppl calling me in the middle of the night grinds my gears!!!!

Old notes make sense today!!

..

Sunday is usually a day when u cleanup ur closets, do laundry and go through your old stuff and discard those items that are not in ur use!!

While i was going through my old school bag, i found few notes and would love to share them with you and explain how they make sense today!

First note i found, im sure most of u all know that we find these messages in Dove chocolate wrappers.

Today this made ALOT of sense!! As today i took my FIRST lesson in driving a Stick Shift!! 30 mins of driving was a Bitch!! Clutch, no breaks ... no no ... keep on driving!! Its a new car and hence just a slight weight on an accelerator makes our car jump!! Luckily my teacher has hell lot of PATIENCE!! ...... and even if he didn't ... did not matter somehow .. as he is my younger brother's best friend!!

OKAY!! my second note was from an old friend!! call it my bad memory but i don't remember why she wrote this to me;

Today i am so grateful to her for writing this to me. Two days back i had a constant question in my mind, that y we meet ppl and why they walk away! I was angry and confused ... but after finding this note .. i know onething for sure ... i met many Angeles in every walk of my life .. and looking forward of meeting some more :)

My third and last note, not exactly a note .... but a fortune cookie! :)

Before leaving Cali .. i went to Panda Express .. and got hold of a fortune Cookie and guess what it said;

:) How Cool is that?? now im thinking whether its the coming summer or the summer that just passed. :S

Anyhoo ..... i need to come up with a new "What really Grinds My Gears" .. lets see :)

Cut the Rope

The story tells about a mountain climber, who wanted to climb the highest mountain. He begun his adventure after many years of preparation, but since he wanted the glory just for himself, he decided to climb the mountain alone.

The night felt heavy in the heights of the mountain, and the man could not see anything. All was black. Zero visibility, and the moon and the stars were covered by the clouds.

As he was climbing, only a few feet away from the top of the mountain, he slipped and fell into the air, falling at a great speed. The climber could only see black spots as he went down, and the terrible sensation of being sucked by gravity. He kept falling… and in those moments of great fear, it came to his mind all the good and bad episodes of his life.

He was thinking now about how close death was getting, when all of a sudden he felt the rope tied to his waist pull him very hard.

His body was hanging in the air… Only the rope was holding him, and in that moment of stillness he had no other choice but to scream: HELP ME GOD!!

All of a sudden, a deep voice coming from the sky answered:
-What do you want me to do?
-Save me God!!
-Do you really think I can save you?
-Of course I believe You can…
-THEN CUT THE ROPE TIED TO YOUR WAIST…

There was a moment of silence; and the man decided to hold on to the rope with all his strength.
The rescue team tells that the next day a climber was found dead and frozen… His body hanging from a rope. His hands holding tight to it

ONLY 10 FEET AWAY FROM THE GROUND...

It's a tragic story and hopefully not true, but it illustrates a point. Do you put your confidence in some "rope" ? Or can you trust God with those things that are beyond your control ? Why don't you let go ? God has great and marvelous things in store for you. Cut the rope and simply trust Him.

I think its time for me to do so.

So one fine morning, me n my friends went out to the Malibu beach ... just for fun and on our way back, we thought of taking a different route, and that's when we found Lord Venkteshwara's Temple ....

In June 1997, several dedicated members of the Indian Community from the metropolitan Los Angeles met and resolved to build a Hindu temple. As a result of their hard work, the temple was incorporated as a non-profit religious organization on August 18, 1977 in the state of California.

This temple is one of the largest and most authentic Hindu temple in the western hemisphere.
